summer time fun.

This summer has been so busy! I have had tons of play dates and fun adventures. I've gone to see friends all over and have had tons of fun. I've even had friends from out of town visit me. I've celebrated birthdays (and mine is next week, so you all still have time to shop for me) and have gone to the a fair a bunch. My favorite part of the fair was riding the horsies. I got to ride them each time I went. I also saw ducks, moos (cows) bock bocks (chickens) lambs, pigs and goats. AND I ate corn dogs, lemonade and ice cream. Yum!!

I've gone swimming at Granny's house a lot and eaten a ton of blueberries. And I've helped Mommy make cupcakes. Mommy and Daddy celebrated their seven year anniversary this summer, too.

I am giving Sarah a nose kiss. Nose kisses are my favorite.

Here we all are after our tasty lunch. Well, everyone except for Sarah and Ethan's Daddy because he's taking the photo. After lunch they all piled back in their car and headed back to their home in Oregon. We were the last visit on their way back home, so it was extra nice of them to stop.

Swimming at Granny's is so much fun.

Granny likes to color with me, too. She's really good at drawing cats and flowers.

Lemonade and corndogs at the fair are an absolute must!!

did I mention I got to ride a horsie each time I went?!

my super secret conversation with the wallaby.

happy 7th anniversary, mommy and daddy!! don't mind me as i'm trying to strip out of my top, either. ;-)

my super busy week.

I've been so busy lately! Busy having fun, that is.

Earlier this week Mommy and I met up with our friends, Bud and Hannah, at the coffee shop that Mommy loves. I like it because I get to play outside and we always see people we know wander by and sometimes Mommy gets me a treat. mmmm. This week Hannah brought her skateboard and she scooted me all around. It was great.

Later in the week, Amber and Amayah came to visit. I got to show Amayah what it was like to be a big kid, you know, since she's only 5 months old and I'm almost 2. She's super close to crawling now, which is so fun. And she has the biggest blue eyes.

Here I was petting her head real nice, like I do the kitties.

Yesterday Mommy and I went and met up with her friend Jenni and her 3 kiddos. It was so much fun! We went to a park that I hadn't been to before, so I had to get right on the big kid swings to test them out.

The kiddos had fun playing with the camera and taking pictures.

After the park, we went to a great pizza place where we got to make our own pizzas. mmm.

Here's a group shot of all the full, happy friends.

And here's a shot of just us kiddos.

Whew. All of this fun wiped me out. But, not before I could find a pair of socks to put on my hands. It's my new thing to do. And hey, they go pretty well with my kitty princess nightshirt.

hijacked!

i am hijacking this blog. i told mommy that I want to be the one who writes things, since this my blog and all. so, hi everyone!!

here is one of my favorite pics of me and mommy out for coffee. okay, it was coffee for her and an orange julius type drink for me. we were out with our friend, megan, who snapped the photo with her iphone! (um, daddy, mommy really wants and iphone...hint hint hint) anyhow, mommy and i go out for coffee often. i love to go to the children's consignment store next door and playing with the girls who work there and mommy always finds fun things for me to wear and play with. plus they have great rocking horses.

mommy and i love going out to the park and meeting friends along the way, too. the summertime is the best because we spend a lot of time outside. i especially love going swimming in granny's pool and going to the beach. i love all the adventures that mommy takes me on. well, that's all for now. it's time for my nap!

my little monkey and her new shoes.

Yesterday Maddie and I went on a little shopping trip and she got a new pair of Paul Frank pajamas and some sweet new Mary Jane shoes. Maddie is normally a no shoes kind of girl, but lately, she's really been into them. Just the other day she picked out a pair of pink sparkly mary janes that are so sweet.

Anyhow, as soon as we got home, she wanted to wear her new shoes. She liked them SO MUCH that she even wore them to bed. I figured I could slip the off of her sometime in the night, but nope. She pitched a fit each time I tried. So, she slept in them. She still has them on. And she LOVES her monkey pajamas.

well, hello, there!!

Hi Friends!

Well, after a very long hiatus, I decided to start up a blog for Maddie again. While I can't promise I will post all the time, I will keep this much more up to date than I did during my last attempt. Anyhow, things are going pretty well in our little family right now. It's really hard to believe that Maddie will be two next month!!
